Surgical procedures took on a new, deeper meaning for her after she scrubbed into a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction case. About this case, Danielle tells us “I felt honored to be part of a team that was able to give this woman her confidence back. Being part of a medical profession with the unique ability to help others feel empowered about themselves will be very rewarding and is one of the main reasons that I hope to practice in this specialty one day.”
