Thank you for contacting Gaines Plastic Surgery.
As you have probably heard, on Friday Governor DeSantis issued executive order 20-72 mandating that all elective surgery be halted for the foreseeable future, and that, where possible, all “non-essential” businesses shut down to allow workers to remain home, with the goal of limiting the spread of the novel Coronavirus. As healthcare is an essential sector, Gaines Plastic Surgery will remain open to provide essential services to you and our other patients, for the most part this means that actual visits to the clinic are being limited to our immediate post-operative patients and acute post-operative care.
If you are an established patient, updates regarding routine followup will be forthcoming once this executive order has been lifted. Please stay tuned to our website and social media accounts for updates (and as usual, we remain available via text or phone for more immediate concerns).
While we are not currently performing elective surgeries, we will be seeing consultations virtually so staff and patients alike can stay home and stay healthy. Please call the office at (352)333-9600 to schedule your virtual consultation.
If you have any questions, please reach out. If all of us follow these precautions, we’ll hopefully be seeing you in person sooner rather than later. In the meantime, stay home and stay safe.
Gregory Gaines, MD and the Gaines Plastic Surgery Staff
